Consumers Energy: Power expected to be restored late Wednesday evening for majority of customers

Customers in the hardest-hit areas of Kalamazoo County may not have electricity until Thursday, according to a news release.
Estimates will be updated as assessments and repairs continue, the release says.
Consumers estimates 1,750 customers in Allegan County are without power, 100 in Barry, 9,400 in Branch, 9,650 in Calhoun, 39,750 in Kalamazoo, 3,880 in St. Joseph and 1,500 in Van Buren.
